Ingredients:
- 2 cups cooked long-grain rice, chilled
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 garlic minced cloves,
- 1 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, corn, green beans)
- 2 beaten eggs,
- 2 tbsp sauce of soy
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 5 gms sesame oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Chopped green onions, for garnish
How To Prepare This Recipe:
- Heat the vegetable oil in the larger wok or skillet over high heat.
- Add the onion and garlic to the wok and sauté for 3 minutes till the smell is fragrant.
- Add the mixed vegetables to the wok and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until tender.
- Shift the vegetables to the wok’s left side and pour the beaten eggs into the right.
- Scramble the eggs until cooked through.
- Add the chilled rice to the wok and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until heated through.
- In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the sauce over the rice and stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until the rice is evenly coated.
- Garnish the fried rice with chopped green onions and serve hot.
