Salads are dishes with healthy ingredients. Few of them will have only raw vegetables and few are half-baked. Today we will learn about a crunchy lentil salad which is a France favorite. Let’s start.
Ingredients:
- 1 bunch of purple kale
- Salt
- 1 bunch of Swiss chard
- 1 bowl of French green lentils
- Lemon peel
- Scallions
- Garlic
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 20 raw crushed almonds
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper
- ½ teaspoon garlic paste
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- ½ teaspoon feta
- 15 Castelvetrano olives
- ½ bowl Cucumber
- Parsley
- ½ teaspoon pepper powder
How To Prepare This Recipe:
- In a bowl, mix purple kale and salt and mix well.
- Add Swiss chard to the same bowl and mix it well.
- Boil French green lentils with little salt till they become a little smoother.
- Add Lemon peel, scallions, garlic, and olive oil in a pan and start heating them up.Â
- Add raw crushed almonds.
- Saut everything well till the almonds get roasted to brown color.
- Add cumin seeds and crushed red pepper to the pan.
- Remove the excess oil from this mixture with the help of a filter and remove the lemon peel.
- Spread this mixture on tissue paper to remove the oil completely and add sprinkle salt over it.
- Mix garlic paste and lemon juice in a bowl.
- Remove the access water from the boiled lentils.
- In a large mixing bowl, add the lentils to the greens we prepared before. Add scallions, raw almond fried mix, lemon juice and garlic mix, feta, Castelvetrano olives, cucumber, parsley, salt, and pepper powder.
- Mix all these ingredients well.
You are now ready to relish the healthy and crunchy salad.
